I had a set of safari cards when I was a kid. They are slightly larger than big index cards, with a full-color glossy picture of a creature of some kind on the front, along with a nifty little thumbnail world map that shows the animal's habitat, and lots of little code-icon thingies that show what type of environment it prefers, etc. On the back was a long description of its behavior, mating habits, gestation, and other pertinent information. You could put them in order using the little icons, the name, the genus/species.... or you could organize them the way I did: I put my cards in Pretty Order.

I wish! If I ever do find them again, they'll be in a dark, dank corner of my parents' basement or garage, so they might not be in keep-able condition.

Maybe they sold them on eBay for a zillion dollars. Keep an eye on them. If they buy a fancy new car and start planning long cruises--well....
